Providing online support for the GameSpy Arcade software requires a higher set of skills than those just used for online chatting. The following is a list of qualities and attributes we would
like all of our online volunteers to possess when providing support in an online environment:
- Effective use of the GameSpy Arcade, GameSpy Comrade and the Windows Operating environment.
- The ability to explain step-by-step procedures, and express instructions in writing.
- Spelling and grammar proficiency.
- Online communication skills, knowledge of nettiquette do's and don'ts, qualities of common courtesy.
- The ability to multi-task.
- Technical troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical problems to others for diagnosis and solution.
- Effective internet searching skills.
- The capacity to derive satisfaction from helping others.
- A commitment to continuous learning and motivation to improve skills in all areas of support.
- A good working knowledge of some of Arcade's and Comrade's supported online games.
- The ability to display maturity, professionalism and patience in all situations.
If you want to become a helper - help out in the game rooms regularly as well as on the GameSpy Arcade Forums. You have to prove yourself before being invited to join the team - be VISIBLE! Only do not get in the way of the current [HELP]ers trying to do their job.

C:\Program Files\GameSpy Arcade\Profiles and enter all the numbers from the numbered folders. Another way is to login to GameSpy Arcade, join a game/GameSpy Arcade Tour lobby. Enter: "/gscmd usr_profile"(without the quote marks) the command will return: >> Var get: usr_profile = number, which is the profile number for the profile you are logged in with.
